Dallas Cowboys vs Chicago Bears

September 17, 2007

By Scott Burgess (3-1)
Game: September 23, 2007

The Chicago Bears (1-1) host the Dallas Cowboys (2-0) at Soldier Field.

The Dallas Cowboys are off and running in the 2007 season so far. QB Tony Romo left off where he started last season, on fire. He’s 29-53, thrown for 531 YDS and 6 TD’s. He’s connecting nicely with wide receivers Terrell Owens (8, 184 YDS, 3 TD) and Jason Witten (8, 143 YDS, 1 TD ). The Cowboys rushing attack is just as good as their passing game. Julius Jones rushed for 98 YDS and Marion Barber ran for 154 YDS along with 3 TD’s in their last game against Miami. The Cowboys defense is a brick wall that’s appling pressure on their opponents QB. The Cowboys are looking like the team that won all those Super Bowls back in the day. If you like the Dallas Cowboys to win…. Bet Now

The Chicago Bears are out to a rocky start. QB Rex Grossman isn’t perfoming up to par so far. Grosman’s 32-57, thrown for 305 YDS with 1 TD, and has been intercepted 3 times. Top receivers for the Bears are Bernaed Berrian (148 YDS, ) and Desmond Court (67 YDS). Da Bears are again a defensive team that applies a lot of pressure on their opponents QB. Lance Biggs and Brain Urlacher have combined for 31 tackles, 2 sacks and a fumble. Their rushing game will need some improvement against the Cowboys D-Line, RB’s Cedric Benson and Adrian Peterson have combined for only 190 yard, 0 TD’s with the longest run only 13 yards. Not good, pick it up boys.

Bottom Line: Dallas is going to be too powerful on offense against the struggling Bears pass defense. The Bears won’t get the running game against Dallas’s D, similar to the Bears game against the Chargers. Dallas to WIN!
