Denver Broncos at Detroit Lions

November 2, 2007

Denver Broncos (3-4 SU, 1-6 ATS) at Detroit Lions (5-2 SU, 4-2-1 ATS)

The Lions have the Motor City all revved up for the first time in nearly a decade. The Lions haven’t finished with a winning record since 1998 and last advanced to the postseason in 1999. They could do both with a 5-2 record halfway through the 2007-08 season. One thing Detroit has done is reestablish home field advantage this year, winning its first three at Ford Field after coming up short in 11 of its previous 15. The Lions will try to win three in a row for the first time since 2000 this Sunday when they welcome Denver to Motown. The Broncos have covered the spread in 27 of 42 when playing the first of back-to-back games on the road. They have also covered at a rate of 28-14-1 clip as underdogs, and at a 10-5-1 pace on the road against NFC opposition. Detroit is 15-3 ATS at home after two SU wins in a row and 7-0 in November.

Bet the Broncos-Lions game at BookMaker, where the Lions are 3-point favorites.
